October industry events wrap up: Pluxee Philippines goes to IBPAP and HR Tech
21 October 2024
The month of October was an eventful one for Pluxee Philippines, as we participated in two much-awaited industry events: the 16th International IT-BPM Summit (IBPAP) and the 14th Philippine HR Congress (HR Tech).
Pluxee Philippines attended the largest BPO event of the year held at Okada Manila.
Regional and local executives graced the 16th International IT-BPM Summit (from left to right: Pluxee Chief Revenue Growth Officer for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Sebastien Godet, Pluxee Cluster Director for India, Indonesia, & Philippines Anish Sarkar, and HR VP for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Carine Vitu)

A closer look at our interactive booth
For both events, we had an interactive booth where delegates played a game for a chance to win Pluxee merchandise. The delegates were also given an opportunity to voice out what solutions they needed help with—be it employee benefits, sales channel incentives, gifts or prizes, or rewards and recognition.
Regional and local Pluxee executives also graced the event, with Country Managing Director Mert Cetin and Sales Director Anna Driz talking about workplace trends on stage.
Country Sales Director Anna Driz joined in as a co-panelist at the IBPAP talk on Retention Revolution: Industry Trends and Elevating Employee Experience
On elevating employee experience, Driz talked about the importance of starting with employees first, “When we take care of our employees, they take care of their work, their teams, our clients, the brand, essentially the business. So, it must be people first and everything follows.”
Country Managing Director Mert Cetin talked about building a culture of engagement in today’s modern workforce at the HR Tech event
Meanwhile, Cetin delved further about statistics on quiet quitting in Southeast Asia, where 68% of employees are found to be quiet quitting. Furthermore, he talked about unfolding trends in the 21st century workplace like positive reinforcement, the concept of work-life harmony, and the rise of social validation.
Cetin shares, “While rewards are good and have an economic value, recognition is personal and has emotional value. These 2 must go together to make a real impact. Rewards are fleeting, recognition is eternal."
